It’s like searching through a book for a word that is both unknown and continually changing//thoughts on street photography.
Dear Brandon and Steve, Thank you as always for this beautiful site. Street photography is universal, but some cities are more photogenic. I love my home
Thank you Brandon and Steve!!!
I can’t be sure//but I’m fairly certain that this man is this man from one year ago.
I’m sitting at a 4 top inside a Starbucks in Silverthorne, Colorado writing a paper. It’s fairly busy here so people have asked to share my table throughout the day. This man came in early and sat across from me. I debated whether I should ask to take his photo, but he really seemed lost in reading so I decided just to shoot. He didn’t even look up to the sound of my shutter.
Leica x2//short review
The camera actually belongs to my wife, but since she doesn’t know shit about photography, I decided to take it for a few adventures hehehe. It does everything well, especially jpegs, but it’s nothing special. I think Fuji puts out a better camera (better AF, O/EVF, f2 lens, the list is long) but my x100 is long gone, lost in transit, possibly stolen. I also think Sigma’s Foveon has better colors (referring specifically to the DP2), but literally everything else about that camera pisses me off. I cant rave about the Leica, but I can’t stop using it. It’s just enough for me to have a lot of fun walking around with it. That’s enough for me these days.
On Film//fucking hell
I love film, but I hate post process anything and that includes standing in my kitchen shaking a canister. Also it’s getting damn expensive, so I’ve decided to use it only if I have a specific project in mind. Leica x2 shots to come!
